Hotel Was The Occidental Grand Flamenco Punta Cana
An all inclusive hotel, plenty of food and drink but quaility could have been better. There was five other restaurants as well as the main buffet restaurant, (which every night there was a queue to get in), these other restaurants had to be booked in advance. But as the hotel was very busy when I was there it was difficult to get booked in.
At least at this time there was room to sit!
A trip out to Santo Domingo was interesting. The guide insisted on telling us that the 'pirate' Francis Drake looted the island and took it all back to England. We also saw where Christopher Columbus bones are allegedly kept, Columbus Lighthouse, and guarded twenty four hours a day.
