A trip to Peru organised through the tour operator LLama Travel Ltd. An early morning flight on KLM from Heathrow to Amsterdam and then on to Lima in Peru. A total of 17 nights in Peru.

Visited Inca sites in and around Cusco and the Sacred Valley. Including the Inca ruins at Ollantaytambo.

While staying in Cusco there was an overnight trip to to the high point of the tour Machu Picchu, by train. Staying at the Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel.

The train back to Cusco and then a days coach ride across the altipano to Puno and Lake Titicaca. Passing through the highest point of 4335 mtrs.

Next a flight back to Lima. Overnight in Lima and then a flight to Piura. Followed by a two and a half hours taxi to Mancora in north Peru. Three nights here before flying back to Lima and onward (next day) to Heathrow via Amsterdam.
